Anse Trabaud (Trabaud Cove)

Trabaud Cove has to be earned.
The access by road is rather chaotic and expensive because it is necessary to cross a private property. With entry and exit times.
The other way to get to this beach is to take a nice hike from the Salines beach or the Macabou beach. (See “trace des Caps”)

After a short hour’s walk, you will be able to appreciate the long-awaited cove to the fullest!
If you leave from Les Salines, you will have the chance to cross the Savane des pétrifications with its very particular vegetation. It is like being in a desert, with cactus and rare grass. We avoid crossing this savanna in the middle of the day, because the sun is merciless in the area.
The beach of Anse Trabaud is long, beautiful, isolated and very ventilated. It faces the Atlantic Ocean which roars behind the coral reef. This beach is very popular with kite surfers. Expect some nice waves, so be careful with children!
